Greta Ljung Obituary

We are sad to announce that on August 12, 2024, Greta Ljung of Lexington, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the quiet moments of reflection, amidst the gentle rustle of leaves and the whispered song of the stars, we shall carry Greta's memory with us, a guiding light illuminating the path ahead. May Greta's journey be filled with peace and serenity, as her find rest in the embrace of eternity.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Ellen Ljung and Johannes Ljung (Jeppo); her husband Bert Beander; and her siblings, Lisa-Teir Siltanen of Korsholm and Stig Ljung of Ekenäs. She was also cherished by ten nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to Dana Farber Cancer Institute or to Finlandia Foundation – Boston.
