He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Levi George and Alyce Burnell (Houghton); his wife Mary Connors Burnell; his daughters, Susan Burnell (Hans), Spakovsky of Vienna, Virginia, Alyce Burnell of Natick, Nancy Coughlin (Timothy) of Darien and Barbara Coughlin (Michael) of Natick; his grandchildren, Elisabeth, Christopher, Anna, Spakovsky, Aliza, Isabel Greenstein, Isadora, Matthew, Daniel, Carolan Coughlin and Maggie; his brother Robert Burnell of Jacksonville, VT; his nieces and nephews, Gregory, Jennefer and Bjorn Burnell; his sister Judy Royce of Reading; and his former wife Claire Carolan Burnell of Natick.
