It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Evelyn Whitney (Lexington, Massachusetts), born in West Haven, Connecticut, who passed away on December 8, 2018, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Lunde and Else Lunde; and her sisters, Francis Hedlund and Dorothy Waldo (Rick). She is survived by: her husband Herbert Whitney; her children, Donald Whitney (Michelle) of Hudson, NH. and Diane Dunn (Craig) of Tewksbury, MA.; her grandchildren, Brian, Cindy Dunn, Rachel and Alana Whitney; and her siblings-in-law, Dorice Wreghitt, Evelyn Lunde, Ann McCroskery and Don Jacobsen. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
