He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Reid Banks and Susanna Ann Banks (Keating); and his sister Rita Ann Whitman (Banks). He is survived by: his nephew Tom Whitman; his niece Debbie Whitman; and his close friends, Dan Peterson and Dominic Modoono. He is also survived by great-great-nieces and nephews.
