He was predeceased by: his wife Joan E. Hutchinson (Conway); his parents, Edward H. Hutchinson and Mary Helen Hutchinson (Mornane); and his brother Gerald A. Hutchinson. He is survived by: his nieces and nephews, Paul Hutchinson, Kerry Conway, Susan Rodrigues, Mark Hutchinson, Paul Hutchison and Stephen Hutchinson; his great-nieces, Charlotte Rodrigues and Leah Rodrigues; and his great-nephew James Rodrigues.

Donations in his memory may be made to the American Cancer Society.
