He was predeceased by: his wife Frances Hines (DiMeo); his daughter Paula Silva; and his sister Kathleen Franklin. He is survived by: his children, Danny Thomas of Beverly and Karen Meneghini (John) of Billerica; his siblings, Clayton Hines, Stayley Hines and Robert Hines; his grandchildren, Dennis, Josiah, Christina, Michaela and Noah; and his great grandchildren, Selah Grace and Iona Joy.
