She was predeceased by: her husband Stanley Kaplan. She is survived by: her children, Ellen Kaplan, Allan Shapiro of Byfield, Lawrence and Kathleen Kaplan of Methuen; her grandchildren, Maura Bragg, Michael Gerrin and Leia Tummino (Peter); her great grandchild Ashlyn Bragg; her sister Elaine Rosen (late Carl); and her brother-in-law Fred Kaplan (Faye). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the SCN2A Foundation, http://www.scn2a.org, which is working toward a cure for Crasella's great granddaughter, Ashlyn's genetic disorder. This Foundation also supports research for better understanding and cure for all causes of Autism.
