Carolyn Joy Lawrence Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn Joy Lawrence of Lexington, Massachusetts, born in Winchester, Massachusetts, who passed away on September 25, 2024, at the age of 103, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Sumner C. Lawrence (Sam); her parents, John Henry and Lucy Joy (Waterman); her children, Peter Lawrence and Sumner C. Lawrence, Jr. (Larry); and her siblings, Dorothy Sargent (Joy), Franklin Joy, John Joy and Thomas Joy.
She is survived by: her children, Keith E. Lawrence of Waltham and Joy Lawrence Terry (Phil) of Lexington; her grandsons, Marc Lawrence of Lowell and Jon Lawrence (Lisa); her great grandchild Joshua of Chelmsford; her granddaughter Monica Terry Simmons (Kevin); her great grandchild Emma of Groton; and her granddaughters, Rachel Terry Renaud (Kenneth) of Bourne, Sara LeBrun (Seamus LaValley) of Plymouth and Rebecca LeBrun (Derek Kelley) of Everett. She is also survived by her daughter and son-in-law, and be close to her loving family.
