He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charles (Karel) and Emilie Zemanova Pitha; his wife Elizabeth Ward (Betsy); his former wife Gladys Geraldine Mooradian (Gerry); his friends, Carl and Betsy; his stepson Joshua Mooradian; his sons, Philip (Sophie Frishkopf) of Sharon, MA and Robert (Heidi Pitha) of Concord, MA; his sisters, Elsie Semenkewitz and Marion Perkins (Philbin); and his grandchildren, Addison, Charlotte and Nathan Pitha. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews.
