She was predeceased by: her husband James Jones Cowan III (Jim). She is survived by: her children, Christina Sym (John) of Lexington and Chris Cowansage (Melissa) of Washington, DC.; her grandchild Kelsey (Roy); her great grandchild Zoey of Waltham; her grandchildren, Tyler of Denver, CO, Kiriana (Bryce) of Jefferson, MD and Corydon (Michael); her great grandchild Neve of Millbrook, NY; her grandchild Cadran (Aaron); and her great grandchild Dylan of Oakland, CA.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the charity of your choice.
