He was predeceased by: his parents, John Rix and Helen Rix (Anderson); his wife Joan Rix (Packard); his close friend Rosalie Lemmon; his daughter Pamela Ormsby; his daughter-in-law Cindy Rix; his siblings, David "Reggie" Rix, Donald Rix and Joan Boutilier; and also Cynthia Stevenson.
He is survived by: his children, Cathy Eckert (Larry) of New Salem, MA, Sharron Rix of Wallingford, Harry Rix (Denise) of Athol and Robert "Bob" Rix, II of Raymond, NH; his brothers, John "Jack" Rix of Leominster and Richard "Dick" Rix of Florida; and also, Roy Lemmon (Kim), James Lemmon, Jr. (Corinne Nye), Robert Lemmon (Michelle Fay) and Leslie Cella (Paul). He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
