He was predeceased by: his siblings, William Mikels, Barry Mikels, Donna Mikels and Beverly McDonald; and his parents, Leon J. Mikels and Priscilla Mikels (Buss).
He is survived by: his wife Susan D. Mikels (Hobbs); his children, Jamey C. Mikels (Michaela) of Wilmington, DE and Judith M. Caron (Phillip) of Gardner; his grandchildren, Amanda Mikels, Preston Mikels, Donovan Mikels, Jessica Christian (Ryan), Joshua Caron and Matthew Caron; his great grandchildren, Camden Larkin and Raegan Christian; his stepchildren, Gordon Noyes IV, Eric Noyes (Denise) and Tara Amendola (Dana); his granddaughter Abigail Noyes; and his siblings, George Mikels (Joan), Edward Mikels (Linda), Paul Mikels, Gary Mikels (Lisa), David Mikels (Anna) and Joy Waling (John). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
