He is survived by: his wife Karen; his sons, Adam Goerner (Ryan Souza) and Barrett Senecal (Christine Griffin); his grandson Jorden Senecal; his niece Kathryn Goerner of Mt Holly, NC.; and his close friend Maggie.

The family asks in lieu of flowers that memorial contributions be made in Robert's name to the Sterling Animal Shelter, 17 Laurelwood Drive, Sterling, MA 01564 Robert's funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Sawyer-Miller-Masciarelli Funeral Home, 763 Massachusetts Ave. Lunenburg.
