He was predeceased by: his parents, Warren Burchstead and Lillian Burchstead (McDonald); his son Michael Burchstead; and his siblings, Rachael Gantt, Barbara Bovenzi, Gerald Burchstead and Sharon Chartrand.
He is survived by: his wife Theresa Burchstead (Rocheleau); his daughters, Jody LaFerriere (Thomas Giarrosso) and Debra Sojka (Robert); and his grandchildren, Michael LaFerriere, Peter Sojka and Ellen Sojka.
