He was predeceased by: his wife Rita; his daughters, Bernadette, Barbara and Carol; his grandsons, Nicholas and Jason Garneau; and his siblings, Leona, Bill, Bobby, Ronald and Walter.
He is survived by: his children, Norman Garneau, Jr. (Gretchen Letteney) of Fitchburg, MA, John Garneau (Nanci) of Pembroke, MA, Judith Garneau of Largo, FL, Deborah Richard (Ray) of Leominster, MA, Beth Favini (Rob) of Fitchburg, MA and Mary Carter (Joseph Dzwilewski) of Clinton, MA; his sister Shirley Manning of Union, ME; his daughter Julie Pion; and his grandchildren, Andrew Garneau, Dan (Tim Richard), Joe (Tess Favini), Drew (Emma Garneau) and Allison Carter. He is also survived by great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
