She was predeceased by: her son Peter R. Nelson; and her sisters, Helen Hill (Kendall) and Bernice Adams (Kendall). She is survived by: her parents, John O'Keefe and Helen O'Keefe (Childs); her husband Roland A. Nelson; and her children, Katherine Sullivan (Nelson), Thomas of Sheffield, James Nelson of Westminster, Linda Dube (Nelson) and Michael of Sterling. She is also survived by six grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
