She was predeceased by: her parents, Clemente Maldonado and Librada Escobales Maldonado; and her daughter Awilda Ortiz. She is survived by: her sons, Edwin Nieves of Puerto Rico, Fernando Nieves of Florida, Carlos Ortiz of Fitchburg, MA, Angel Rivera, Armando Ortiz of Florida and Miguel Rivera of New York; and her granddaughter Wanda Moreno of Leominster. She is also survived by 27 grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.
