He was predeceased by: his son Gary Mongeon; and his siblings, Adelard Mongeon Jr., Leo Mongeon, Doris Freehart and Delores Maynard.
He is survived by: his wife Pauline Mongeon (Woodard); his children, Lawrence Mongeon Jr. and Debra Mongeon; and his brothers, Richard (Diane), John (Yvette) and Eugene (Cheryl). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.
