He was predeceased by: his parents, John I. McDowell and Florence McDowell (Nimmons); and his wife June McDowell (Carter). He is survived by: his children, Brian McDowell (Diane), Bruce McDowell (Karen), Kevin McDowell and Sharon White (Prescott) of Leominster. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren.
