He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Revered; his children, Lee (Mark Haschig), Lisa (Carl Jackson), Lynne (Michael Karagianes), John Devereaux of Groton, Sean (Jennifer Devereaux), Bryan (Sheila Devereaux) and Erin (Ryan Eaton); his grandchildren, Kevin, Morgan, Emily, Ashley, Elena, Kalliope, Katherine, John Michael, Parker, Mia, Andrew, Johnny, Leah, Abbie, Joey, Sydney, Jack, Zoe, Skylar, Ella, Summer, Charlie and Sawyer; his great grandchildren, Alex, Logan and Camden; his siblings, Mary Trant, Joseph Devereaux, Edward Devereaux, Charlie Devereaux and Barbara Kendall of Naples; and his wife Sue-Ann. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
