It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Edith Thurston of Leominster, Massachusetts, born in Fitchburg, Massachusetts, who passed away on November 16, 2020, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Thomas and Edith Clara Killelea (Luchford); her spouse A. Donald Thurston (Don); and her sister Marjorie O'Neil of Washington, DC.. She is survived by: her children, Pamela Perkins (David), Jeffrey Thurston (Peggy), Donald Thurston (Sandra), Bruce Thurston (Karen), David Thurston (Cathie) and Mark Thurston (Pamela); and her grandchildren, Jeffrey Thurston (Sara), Tracey Yelle (Andrew), Michelle Wilson, Mandy Djaberlarbi, Kimberly Boyarsky, Christopher Thurston (Heather), Ryan Thurston, Benjamin Thurston (Shirley), Nicholas Thurston (Melissa), Alexander Thurston (Kate), Erin Decato (Jamie), Kara Murphy, Maura Murphy-Pike (Michael), Jonathan Thurston (Colleen), Jason Thurston, Melissa Constable (Jason) and Jennifer Sparacino (Anthony). She is also survived by twenty-two great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
