James M. Callahan Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James M. Callahan of Leominster, Massachusetts, born in Lowell, Massachusetts, who passed away on October 2, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his brothers, Thomas F. Callahan and William J. Callahan; and also Thomas Waters. He is survived by: his wife Sylvia A. Callahan (Lambert) of Leominster; his daughters, Megan A. Callahan, MD (Hilmy Ismail) of North Attleboro, Kathleen A. DiRusso (Michael) of Leominster and Hilary S. Callahan; his siblings, Francis P. Callahan of Ayer and Mary Guthrie of Ayer; and his grandchildren, Justin Ismail, Abigail Ismail, Nina DiRusso and Daniel Watahan. He is also survived by several nephews and nieces.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or the Dementia Society of America.
