He was predeceased by: his sister Patricia "Patty" Bouchard (John "Butch" Mackie) of Gardener; and his parents, John Mackie, Sr. and Alice Mackie (Rajala). He is survived by: his wife Angela Mackie (Mellonas); his children, Kimberly Schuster (Todd) of Leominster, Timothy Mackie (Julianna) of Boston and Nantucket; his grandchildren, Brayden and Sophia Schuster; and his siblings, James "Jim" Mackie of Fitchburg, Dennis Mackie of Westford and Carol Weston (Steve) of Berlin. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Brandon Funeral Home (305 Wanoosnoc Rd, Fitchburg, MA 01420). A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A celebration of life will be held on Friday, April 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Manoosnock Country Club (40 Monoosnock Ave, Leominster, MA 01453).
