George A. Babineau Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George A. Babineau of Leominster, Massachusetts, born in Gardner, Massachusetts, who passed away on October 19, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Adelard Babineau and Laura Babineau (Careau); and his siblings, Guy Careau, Alice Murray and Muriel Spenard.
He is survived by: his children, David G. Babineau (Sylvia) of Gardner, Louise Tata (John) of Lunenburg and Diane Boucher (Denis) of Sandwich; his stepchildren, Susan I. Meyer, Robert W. and Richard R. Ingves; and his grandchildren, Jacob, Michael Babineau, Lauren, Ross Boucher and Melanie Tata. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Burial with Military Honors will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery, West Street, Gardner, MA.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Sisters of the Presentation of Mary, 209 Lawrence Street, Methuen, MA 01844 or to Annunciation Parish, 135 Nichols Street, Gardner, MA 01440.
