He was predeceased by: his spouse Nelida "Nelly" Aponte Garcia; his parents, Angel Garcia and Vicenta Hernandez; and his siblings, Josefina, Nelida, Pascual, Sita, Ramonita and Ita Garcia.
He is survived by: his children, Miriam Mercado of Leominster, Angel Garcia of Canóvanas, Norberto Garcia of Canóvanas, Carmen Toledo of Tampa, FL, Ismael Garcia of Río Grande, Maria Mercado of Yarmouth Port, Orlando Garcia of Hubbardston, Lucy Ramos of Clinton, Ramon Garcia of Río Grande and Wanda Rodriguez of Clinton; and his siblings, Eugenio, Cecilo, Clotilde Torres, Elsa, Juanita, Gloria and Efrain Garcia. He is also survived by grandchildren, countless nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
Lancaster-Felix Garcia, 96, husband of the late Nelida "Nelly" Aponte Garcia, and patriarch to his loving family of 10 children, 27 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren, and 15 great-great grandchildren, passed peacefully at Leominster Hospital on Thursday, May 7, 2020 from complications of COVID-19.
