She was predeceased by: her husband William L. Malnati; her parents, William McCarthy and Ruth McCarthy (Sheldon); her sisters, Muriel McCarthy and Josephine Ruscio (late Nick); and her brother-in-law Joseph Malnati (Barbara).

She is survived by: her children, Gloria Barry (Kevin) of Wilmington and William Malnati (Lori) of Hubbardston; her grandchildren, Kristine McGuire (Daniel), Kevin Barry, Nicholas and Brian Malnati; her great grandchild Chase Malnati; her brother James McCarthy (Helen); and her siblings-in-law, Martin Malnati, Francis Malnati (Patricia), Marge Crawford (late Donald) and Joan Carroll (late John). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

“I’m sorry to hear of Dona’s passing. Dona and Bill lived in one of my Dad’s apartment in Whalom when they first got married. My parents were very friendly with them. I remember Dona babysitting me. They lived in the apartment until they brought their home in N. Leominster and baby Gloria was about 2 years old. I was so upset they were leaving! I still have fond memories of Dona and Bill. ??”
