She was predeceased by: her father Michael Njoroge of Kenya; and her brother John Kinuthia Njoroge. She is survived by: her mother Josephine Njoroge (Wairimu); her husband Jeff Waweru of Leominster; her daughter Monique Malone of Worcester, MA; and her siblings, Francis Chege Njoroge of Kenya, Jane Agusta Njoroge of Kenya and Mary Theresa Wacheke of Kenya.
