He was predeceased by: his son Keith Shaefer Wells; his brothers, Robert A. Wells and G. David Wells; and his parents, Alton Wells and Helen Wells.
He is survived by: his sister-in-law Claudia Wells; and his nieces and nephews, Daren (Maureen), Peter (Shelie), Todd Wells (Jonene), Heidi Wells and Heather Wells Heim (Matt). He is also survived by cousins, great nephews and nieces.
