He was predeceased by: his parents, Winthrop N. Gutmann and Mary Mullens Gutmann; his wife Joanne Gutmann (Bona); and his sisters, Cathy Eddy (Gutmann) and Winifred Morenz (Gutmann).
He is survived by: his sons, Robert "Bobby" J. Gutmann (Sara O'Brien) of Billerica, MA and Andrew J. Gutmann of Little Rock; and his brothers, W. Peter Gutmann (Anita) of Pittsfield, MA, Charles Gutmann (Irene) of Suffern, NY, Mark Gutmann (Jamie) of Morgantown, WV and Jim Gutmann of Eastchester, NY. He is also survived by nine sister and brother in-laws and 27 nieces and nephews.
