He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick J. Benoit and Alice C. Benoit (Grady); his uncle Jim Gilrein; his son David W. Benoit; his grandson Christopher P. Bernard; and his brother Walter Grady.
He is survived by: his aunt Mae; his wife Phyllis A. Benoit (Amidon); his children, Linda B. Hogue (Douglas B. Hogue), Alice M. Bernard (Philip G. Bernard) and Paul F. Benoit (Robynn B. Eisley); his grandchildren, Kathryn M. Ulibarri (Bret), Amy Benoit, Lynn M. Benoit, Marie E. Pompei (Roberto), Molly B. Hogue, Mia A. Hogue, Andrew J. Benoit (Cindy), Joseph J. Bernard (Shauna), Brian P. Benoit (Kayla), Robert F. Bernard (Kayla), Francis X. Bernard and Thomas F. Bernard; and his daughters-in-law, D. Annette Benoit and June A. Benoit. He is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren.
In particular, we especially acknowledge and thank Ms. Linda Parker for her unwavering love and attention to John's wellbeing throughout this Covid-plagued era.
