He was predeceased by: his father Edward "Buddy" Briggs; and his parents-in-law, George and Marilyn Townsley. He is survived by: his mother Madeline Bartini Briggs; his wife Kristin Briggs; his children, Hunter and Hannah Briggs; his brothers, Edward "Cliffy" Briggs (Jodi), Steve Briggs (Christina), Tim Briggs (Liz) and Scott Briggs (Joyce); his siblings-in-law, Michael, Dean Townsley, Charlie and Gia; and his nieces and nephews, Jordan, Connor Townsley, Cory, Casey Briggs, Clayson, TJ Briggs, Elsie Townsley and Ella Briggs.
