She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Marshall Brighenti and Adelina "Lena" Cadenelli Brighenti; her spouse Michael J. Tokoly; her sons, Michael J. Tokoly Jr. of Lee and Andrew M. Tokoly of Poncha Springs, CO; her sister-in-law Bette Tokoly of South Carolina; and her siblings, James M. Brighenti, William Brighenti and Rena Gleason. She was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
