He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John "Kaki" Morawiec and Stephanie "Tessie" Morawiec (Piotrowski); his wife JoAnn; his children, John (Tiffany) of Kansas and Janine Cormier of Georgia; his grandchildren, Tyler Cormier, Jodi and Krystyna Morawiec; and his siblings, Thomas P. Morawiec of Lee and Donna. He was also cherished by his many nieces and nephews.
