She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold L. Fairfield and Jessie Donald Fairfield; her husband Richard L. Welch; and her siblings, Elizabeth F. Buck and David Fairfield.
She is survived by: her sisters, Jean Campbell and Barbara MacNayr; her children, Patricia A. Politis, Diana L. Johnson (James), Richard L. Welch, Jr. (Maryann) and Robert W. Welch (Debra); and her grandchildren, Thea Politis, Dr. Garrett Politis, Benjamin Johnson, Rebecca Morrow, Caroline Cooper, David Johnson, Richard D. Welch, Jeffrey Welch, Jennifer Toomey, Amy Gallo, Dena Welch, Timothy Welch, Kenneth Welch and Sarah Welch.
