She was predeceased by: her parents, Angelo Aru and Vincenza Aru (Palma); her husband Gerald Hammerle; her son Timothy J. Hammerle; her sister Rosa Aru; and her mother-in-law Mary Hammerle.
She is survived by: her children, Jeffrey S. Hammerle (Kelly) of Otis and Brenda Hammerle of Lee; her sister-in-law Carol Hammerle (Kristine Servais) of Green Valley, AZ; her stepson Brian Hammerle; her stepgrandchildren, James Thurston and Ruth Thurston; and her siblings, Luigia (Robert Schettini) of Pittsfield, Lucia Holleran, Antoinette (Alfredo Brando), Giovanni Aru (Lina), Pietro Aru (Franca), Antonio Aru (Ginetta) and Claudio Aru (Lina) of Italy. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
