He was predeceased by: his parents, Mario Pennisi and Carmela Pennisi (Barbagallo); his wife Josephine (Marino); his son John; his daughters-in-law, Linda and Jan Pennisi; and his siblings, Rev. Ignatius S. J., Rev. Celestine O. F. M., Sr., Mary Grace M. P. V., Guy, John, Anthony and Angelina.
He is survived by: his children, Joyce Lee (Jeffrey) of Lawrence and Richard (Wendy Diedrich) of Windham, NH; his grandsons, Jeffrey Pennisi (Chrystal) of Haverhill, Jonathan Pennisi (Karen Cheever) of Raymond, NH and Michael Pennisi of Lawrence; his daughter-in-law Carol Pennisi of Haverhill; his grandchildren-in-law, Elizabeth and Stephen; his great grandchildren, Raychel and Willow Pennisi; his children, Amy, Kirby Myers and Jessalyn Higgins; and also Maura Pennisi of Sandown, NH. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, and friends.
