He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Bertha Aziz (Winters) and Benoit Auger; his wife Margaret J. (Decoteau); his children, Mary Auger-El Khoury (Frank St), Marc Auger of Haverhill, MA, Matthew Auger (Lisa) of Atkinson, NH and Michael Auger (Dana) of Missouri; his grandchildren, George, Christina El Khoury of Methuen, MA, Matthew Auger Jr., Dante Auger, Ryan Auger of Atkinson, NH and Kelsey White of Lawrence, MA.; his sister June Nolin; and his nephew Eric Nolin. He was also cherished by many cousins, and brothers-in-law.
