He was predeceased by: his parents, Juana Santiago (Rodriguez) and Conrado Santiago; his wife Luz Maria Santiago; and his son Israel Santiago. He is survived by: his children, Jose Santiago, Nelson Santiago, Eduardo Santiago and Maribel Santiago of Lawrence; and his grandchildren, Andy, Israel, Jr., Krystal, Natalie, Bianka, Sylvia Marie, Joshua, Jencelis, Brianah, Jeremy, Eduardo, Jr. and Erykah.
Due to the current COVID-19 situation, services for Mercedes will be held in private with the assistance of Cataudella Funeral Home in Methuen.
