She was predeceased by: her parents, Sam Zappala and Grace Zappala (Messina); her husband Fred Barberio; and her brothers, Frederick and Joseph Zappala.
She is survived by: her sons, Joseph Barberio (Judith Fischer) of Liberty, ME and Gerald Barberio of Lawrence; and her sister-in-law Agnes Zappala of North Andover. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
