With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mary A. Hassey (Lawrence, Massachusetts), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 28, 2024 at the age of 94. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Mary A. Hassey to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Liffrig and Genevieve Liffrig (Staiger). She is survived by: her aunt Susan Liffrig; her children, Dr Edward Hassey of North Andover, MA, Susan Strandberg (Robert Strandberg) of Amelia Island, FL, John Hassey of North Kingstown, RI and Catherine Marshall (Steven Marshall) of Chelmsford, MA; her sister Rose; her brother-in-law Larry Sancilio of Potomac, MD.; and her grandchildren, Robb Strandberg, Caitlin Strandberg, Kelly Corsini (Alex Corsini), Andrew Hassey (Stephanie Hassey) and Matthew Hassey.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 7th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph Melkite Greek Catholic Church (241 Hampshire St, Lawrence, MA 01841). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 7th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
