He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Juan Delacruz and Juana Ovalles (Peralta); his children, Judy Espaillat, David Ovalles, Elizabeth Terrones, Sara Ovalles, Nicole Colon and Brandy Ovalles; his stepson Mario Newman; and his sisters, Altagracia, Maria, Mercedes, Andrea and Luisa. He was also cherished by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the John Breen Memorial Funeral Home Inc. (122 Amesbury St, Lawrence, MA 01841). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Bellevue Cemetery (170 May St, Lawrence, MA 01841).
