Melvin Sr. (Lawrence, Massachusetts), born in Everett, Massachusetts, who passed away on February 2, 2024, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Melvin and Mary Melvin (Otis); and his siblings, Edward, Bertum, Frederick, William, Frankie Melvin and Ruth Gravell.

He is survived by: his children, John H. Melvin, Jr. (Carrieann) of Lawrence, MA, Tyler L. Devito of Raymond, NH, Derek Melvin and Jill E. Dye (Eddie) of Plaistow, NH.; his sister Barbara Burris of North Conway, NH; his grandchildren, Dylan Dye, Caroline Melvin, Lucian Devito Sylvia, Veronica Garcia, Danielle Dye and Christopher Dye; and his great grandchild Cash Robinson.
