Jane A. (Hanlon) Keenan Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jane A. (Hanlon) Keenan (Lawrence, Massachusetts), who passed away on April 7, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Hanlon and Mary Hanlon (Garvin); and her sister Helen RIchards. She is survived by: her grandchildren, Casey Flanigan, Conor Keenan, Kiley Keenan, Callie Keenan, Brady Keenan, Carrick Keenan and Cooper Keenan; her children, Jay Keenan (Caroline) of Westport, CT, Jim Keenan (Kerry) of Salem, NH and Cara Flanigan (Paul) of Andover, MA; and her sister Colleen (Michael) of Bracey, VA. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Star of the Sea Church (18 Beach Rd, Salisbury, MA 01952). A burial was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 11:15 AM at the Immaculate Conception Cemetery (29 Barker St, Lawrence, MA 01841).
In lieu of flowers a memorial contribution can be made in Jane's name to the Boys and Girls Club of the Lower Merrimack Valley, P.O. 5906, Salisbury, MA 01952 which will be used for an annual scholarship in her name to a graduating senior.
