She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Nicosia and Grace Nicosia (Germana); her husband Thadeus Makarewicz (Ted); and her siblings, Carl, Domenic, Angelo Nicosia, Mary Paolino and Rose Grasso.
She is survived by: her son Mark (Joan E.); her grandchildren, Melissa Sue Makarewicz (Paul Ouellette) of Dracut, MA, Mark Makarewicz, Jr. (Sarah) and Nicholas Makarewicz of Dracut, MA; her great grandchildren, Sadie Elizabeth Makarewicz and Owen John Makarewicz; and her sister-in-law Shirley Kirk. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
