It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Donna Joyce (Simmons) Bernard in Lawrence, Massachusetts, born in Moncton, New Brunswick, who passed away on September 15, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Simmons and Naida Simmons (Beaumont); her husband Robert E. Bernard; and her sister Helen Crossman. She is survived by: her brother Peter Simmons; her children, Gregg Darrach (Laura), Kenda J. (Gordon Howell) of Warner, NH, Todd Darrach (Linda), Eleanor Darrach of Lawrence, MA, Karan Bergeron (Moe), Edward Bernard (Sandra Martinez), Roberta Sedgwick (Bill), Cynthia Bozek (David) and Gloria Sciuto (David); and her brother Loy Simmons. She is also survived by 27 grandchildren; and a LOT of great grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Contributions in her memory may be made to the choir ministry at the First Calvary Baptist Church.
