With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of AnnMarie Mears of Lawrence, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 10, 2025 at the age of 55. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, AnnMarie is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that AnnMarie's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She is survived by: her parents, John Giuffrida and Maria Giuffrida (Pappalardo); her husband Michael B. Mears of Lawrence, MA; her children, Katherine Mears of Lawrence, MA, Michael R. Mears (Sarah) of Lawrence, MA and Anthony Mears of Lawrence, MA; her brothers, Carmen Giuffrida and Salvatore Giuffrida (Mandy); and her in-laws, Charles Mears (Mary) and Susan Howshan (William). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cataudella Funeral Home (126 Pleasant Valley St, Methuen, MA 01844). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Rosary Shrine (28 Union St, Lawrence, MA 01841).
