She was predeceased by: her parents, Pilar Fontanez and Pedro Fontanez; her siblings, Lydia Torres, Ana Vega, Maximina, Julia Fontanez and Juan Fontanez; her son Roberto Correa; and her granddaughter Jennifer Correa.
She is survived by: her siblings, Catalina Romero, Manuel and Jose Fontanez; her daughters, Mirta Guevara (Mark Nugent) and Jennie Taveras (Elias); her son-in-law Juan Guevara; and her grandchildren, Tania, Tina Taveras, Mandy, Yani Guevara and Derek Correa. She is also survived by Numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
Strict COVID-19 protocols will be enforced both at the funeral home as well as at the church and cemetery.
