He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Albert Newton and Ina Hill Newton; his wife Darlene Newton of Lanesboro; his sons, Mathew Newton (Lynda Tenorio) of Pittsfield, Michael Newton (Heather Burns) of Pownal, VT and Douglas Newton (Felicia Newton) of Lanesboro; his siblings, Elaine Barnes (Steve) of Putney, VT, Mary Harbourt (Robert) of Bernardston, MA., Carl Newton of Turners Falls, MA and William Newton of Northfield, MA.; his grandchildren, Nicholas, Elliott, Lyam, Elaina, Oliver, Phoebe and Wattson Newton; and his son Craig Newton.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made out to FFA Chapter at Smith Vocational High School in care of Dery Funeral Home.
