He was predeceased by: his wife Audrey Gomes (Trongeau); his parents, William Patrick and Elsie Gomes (Charron); and his stepson Philip Cook. He is survived by: his children, Kathleen Corey (Gomes) of Surprise, AZ, Robert Gomes (Cecilia) of Middleboro and Gary Gomes (Carolyn) of Lakeville; his stepdaughter Kathleen Frates (Wayne) of Lakeville; his grandchildren, Jessica Hathaway (Corey), Kristy Corey, Madison Gomes, Bronte Gomes, Mackenzie Gomes, Hunter Gomes, Martin Longmire, Roger Longmire, Lisa Cook and Jamie Lee Cook; and his sisters, Esther Clemmey (Gomes) and Elsie Smith (Gomes).
