It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sadie Vera Gladu of Lakeville, Massachusetts, born in Carbrooke, Eastern, who passed away on November 29, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Francis Gladu; her parents, Arthur Orford and Martha Orford of England; her siblings, D. Stella Millard and Colin Orford of England; her children, Elizabeth and John; and her granddaughter Kimberly.
She is survived by: her children, Joan of Lakeville, MA, Martha of Lee, NH and Frank of Hillsborough, NH; and her grandchildren, Lee Rachlin, Sarah Gladu of Hillsborough, NH and Nicholas Huston of Brooklyn, NY. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren, four great great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Graveside Services at the Nemasket Hill Cemetery, Plymouth Street, Middleborough, on Friday, December 4, 2020, at 10:00 AM. (LIMIT 25 PEOPLE) DUE TO THE PANDEMIC, A FACE MASK MUST BE WORN AND SOCIAL DISTANCE RULES MUST BE FOLLOWED AT ALL TIMES.
